Get Involved
Our statement is just a first step to winning PILOTs at Penn.
1. Reach Out to Colleagues
Share the petition with colleagues and invite them to sign.
Send an individual email, share on social media, or put a link in your email signature.
2. Write an Op-ed
Keep PILOTs in the news and on the public agenda.
Share your insights as a scholar, a parent, a graduate of public schools, a resident of Philadelphia, or simply a member of our community who believes that Penn has an obligation to ensure adequate funding for the Philadelphia public schools. Here’s how to send an op-ed to campus, city, and national publications.
3. Write a Comment for Social Media
Submit one or two sentences about the importance of PILOTs to be shared on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and this website.
4. Download and Display Our Penn for PILOTs Poster
You can get the poster here.
5. Join the Student Group Penn Pay PILOTs
If you are a student, you can fill out this form to join a group that is actively working on this issue.
Tell us how else you would like to get involved.
Over the coming months, we’ll organize events within the university and in the city to win PILOTs at Penn. All faculty and staff are invited to participate.
What skills and knowledge do you bring to the campaign? What suggestions do you have?
